Folders in Photos won't sync to Ipad

I have bought a new iPad mini and am syncing to a MacBook Pro which has Big Sur installed. Whilst the albums and photos sync to the iPad, the folders and subfolders do not, so I now have all the albums ungrouped.

Any idea how I can get the same folder structure in my iPad that I have on my MacBook?

I created a new album in photos but it is not showing up in selected albums to sync Macos 12.01 Ipad Air 12.5.5 When I created a new album in photos, then I plug in my ipad to add that new album to the ipad. But... when I click on the ipad on the side of the finder window, and select Photos. I do not see my new album as an option to check off. It's almost like the finder is not seeing the new album I made in Photos. So, I suspect the problem is on the mac OS side, or Photos side? but I'm not sure what to try next. The album is NOT a smart album and I do not use iCloud for syncing. So far I've tried: Restarting computer, restarting ipad. Copy photos library to a different drive. What else can I try?

Folders in Photos are not syncing to my iPhone through iCloud I use iCloud to sync my photos between my Mac and iPhone. The photos sync fine, but the folders I use to organize the photos do not. My organization was a mess, and so I recently re-organized all the photos into folders on my Mac. But I want this new organization to sync across to my iPhone, but I have waited a week and the new folder organization structure is not showing up. Is there a setting I can tweak or something I can do to get my iPhone to match what is on my Mac?

How are you doing the sync? I use iCloud Photos to do the sync among my devices, and it does honor the folder structure. I have heard that Finder sync has trouble with folder structure. I don't use it, so I hope somebody who does will chime in with more details.
