I just got my beats flex HOW DO I CHARGE???

I connect the charging cable to my Sony U12 life phone. And it’s charging.

Hope everyone knows you posted the wrong adapter. Need male USB to female USB-C.

they sell it intentionally without a charger it's bought separately, its a rather despicable thing and very unfortunate.

This is really ridiculous. There are no old chargers that fit the beat flex , either. Apple is now using a usb-c end for their lightning cables with all of their new iPhones, too (and not just the 12s). And the kicker is, they don’t include the wall outlet anymore (or headphones. So, I had to buy the Beat Flex to go with my daughter’s iPhone XR. My XR from a year and a half ago had earphones, a lightning cable and a wall charger). I guess this is Apple’s way of being cheap and making more money by forcing people to purchase the wall plug.

yea this is complete ********, I just got a pair today and noticed the charger is the same on both ends.. like how obvious does Apple have to make it that they are purposely inconveniencing customers.

I agree. I dont have a dongle (giggle) with a port for usb-c. I have a wall charger with the port but it is 20w and i do not know if it is safe as i have only read two of my search results. Hi #2. So the charging port. Wow. It’s the future of tech! What about the present?… I would like to have something from apple make a little more sense especially in the beats line because I have the studio over ear wireless headphones using a whatever port and the other Beats earbuds that use the Apple iPhone charger or cable or whatever the word should be. And then now the flex so a different type of charger for every listening device is absolutely brilliant. I love it actually it makes me feel important because I allow other things to have the power to make me feel some thing and then actuality I feel angry. I feel kind of fat too. But I am angry because I would like to charge a new device that .... i’ll stop right there I think the point should be understood I also like the yellow color I decided would make me look younger with my comb-over hairstyle. So since I’m essentially replying to some ones statement here I should obviously add my question. Can I charge these with a 20 W adapter. I have that brick, this tiny double “c” and .... I can’t.

That is just wrong! Who sells earbuds without a usable charger?! I a furious! Plug it into an older what??? I have apple products and uhm that makes no sense. They should've used at least standard charger. Why should I invest my money in a crooked company that does this to their loyal customers?!

This is ridiculous! What does that stupid little connected do if you’ve got nothing it will plug into? Just more time we’ve got to waste going back to the store and more money in Apple’s pocket for purposely leaving out parts that you must have in order to use the device.

I have a wall plug though I still don’t know how to charge these... my headphones came with a usb-c adapter but no charger!!! How the **** am I supposed to charge them?! I literally just spent £50 on these headphones and I know it’s not that much money but I don’t want to spend any more on a stupid charger! Just put a charger in with the headphones! It’s not that hard!!

Recently purchased Beats Flex when my old earphones finally died. Loved my old earphones but wanted to upgrade to something sleeker, what a mistake. I am so sorry I bought these. The whole charging situation is ridiculous on its own merit, but they do not automatically connect to my iPhone when I turn them on and have to manually connect it every time. The controls are not convenient nor do they respond well. Bottom line is I hate them, will never buy a Beats product again.

Yup, absolutely annoying. I thought they put the wrong charger in my box. Noooope. Just a terrible design. Didn't realize they were made by Apple, or I could've guessed they'd be screwing the consumer over in some way.

So the answer to your question: you have to buy more sh*t if you ever want to use your headphones (And thus commit ever more cables & electronics into the sea, who wants a nice planet anyway?). Or return them and get a pair of headphones made by a decent company...if one exists.

I had the same issue why would would put a non standard charging cable in the box. Start giving a standard charging cable on these Apple. I'll now have to fork out for another cable which allows me to actually charge my beats flex.

I bought mine as well and I am under the thought that if you sell something that needs charging don’t assume that we all have everything, send the **** wall adapter and the cable if needed! I called and complain to them because my beats was dead in the box. No red light at all. They want you to spend between 10 and $17 to buy an adapter to charge their product needless to say it went back. Not only were they dead upon arrival but I do not like the idea of having to buy something else just to charge their product. That’s bad business. That’s greed
