Dock not working on MacBook Pro after Big Sur Update 11/20/20

every time i open any of my apps; safari, firefox, word or whatever to the maximum view i can not pull the dock up by dragging the curser to the bottom. i have all the correct dock setting, they worked fine before the update. now i have to minimize the app to access the dock. It is super annoying and wastes a lot of time because i often toggle between apps several times a minute. Please post a fix or release an update to fix the bugs. these are my dock setting (screenshot).

Hello kristenseebold.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that if you maximize an app, you will need to minimize it in order to use the dock. We’re happy to help.

Please use the steps in the section titled “Restart” here: Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac - Apple Support Once you’ve fully restarted your Mac, are you able to access the dock?  If not, we’d like you to add a test user account using the steps here: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac - Apple Support We’d also like you to test in safe mode using the steps here: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support These steps will allow us to isolate the cause.

Let us know the results.

Take care.
