Printers compatible with Big Sur

First, we have no idea what printer you have since you have not said what it is. Second, you say you tried everything. What precisely does that mean? If you won't provide us with any useful information, we can not assist you. Please take a moment and give us some useful information. Thank you.

I have I an back up Apple back up tower. I've printed wireless through it, so has my wife, for some reason even though I've downloaded drivers for the Canon MP 480 it still doesn't connect. I want to order as wireless print that will be easy to install and use. I live in an area that is over an hours drive from an Apple Store, with the pandemic I'd liker to order on line and not have to ship it back should I have a problem setting it up.

You're welcome! Yes, I noticed that the download offers were not identical. The various regions do not always have the same models, and when they have, the drivers (and the availability) may be somewhat different. Anyway, glad to hear that it worked.

Not able to scan from my HP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M477fnw since I updated to Big Sur. Is there a fix? I print fine, the scan feature is the only problem. Neither HP Scan or Image Capture will work. Getting an issue of Malware.

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, but Big Sur .11 is the latest operating system release. If you are referring to printer drivers, they would normally come from the printer manufacturer. Sometimes, they do have current drivers and sometimes we have to wait for one that works. There is nothing that Apple or us can do about that.

How is this helpful that Apple doesn't coexist with printer companies so you cannot use the printer unless I do my homework and possibly I just purchased a MacBook for almost $4,000 that doesn't work for anything other than Facebook?

Oh BROTHER, this has become ridiculous. Maybe we need a recall on MacBooks as I stated we cannot do our jobs with this situation. Apple should be conscious of this prior to releasing this kind of an update to beat who? This is causing so much havoc? Please let us know what now APPLE?

My AIO has printed and scanned without third-party drivers for the past 10 years or so. Maybe invest your time in shopping for good printer instead.

Because I think apple is planning to make their own while we rot waiting for that. So, canon is awful (I have tried 3) with no success. They kept selling me ink and it would not work with my printer. So then quit updating drivers. So I also have the MX printer and they stated they won't be continuing.

Since updating to Big Sur, you helped me connect my Epson printer at home. Thank you.

At my work, I have an HP PageWide Pro MFP 577dw. Since updating to OS 11, I have tried downloading the HP driver from the HP website again. It downloads fine. The printer is identified by the computer.

The printer will scan perfectly, but it just will not print. Any further ideas? Appreciate your help! A different HP printer works fine on this computer. I am connecting both in the same way with a USB Cable.
