iTunes not recognizing my iPad

I have a windows 10 laptop and iPad Air 3 that used to sync fine to iTunes. I am not sure what happened but suddenly, iTunes won't recognize my iPad, even when it shows "Trust this computer" alert on the iPad. I tried using the apple & non-apple usb cables and different usb ports on my laptop, but they still did not work. Both iTunes and iPad have been updated up to date.

I tried following If your computer doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support and realized that under [Device Manager - Universal Serial Bus controllers], it did not show any Apple mobile devices? I am not sure what this means; do I need to buy different cables? Please help!

Hi smk1008,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We understand that you do not see “Apple Mobile Device USB Driver” after following the steps in the article you posted.

According to that article, you will want to try a different cable and a different computer to see if you have the same results.

If you have the same issue on another computer, contact Apple Support.

Take care.
