What does that phrase mean? Connected to what? I know they’re in my house so if they could beep on Find My Phone app that would help. My Bluetooth is on so it’s connected there. They’re in the case & charged.

In order to use the 'Play a sound' option via Find my, your AirPods would need to be connected via Bluetooth. Based on the alert you're seeing, it tells us that your AirPods are no longer connected via Bluetooth to any device they paired with previously. AirPods- “sound pending when connected”. What does that mean? Connected to what? If they were charging I wouldn’t be looking for them.
