airplay website

When I stream from the web on my iPad and then select AirPlay to the Apple TV, I notice in my firewall that in fact the Apple TV takes over and downloads immediately itself from the Internet. This is a good thing of course.

I’ve been trying to find more information on this behaviour but cannot find anything.

Is there anyone here who could point me to good information on this ?

iOS 16 AirPlay isn’t working with HBO, and Disney app Hi, I’m experiencing issues with AirPlay from iPhone SE 3rd to Apple TV 3rd. YouTube works fine, screen mirroring too. What is not working is streaming to HBO MAX and Disney. Application seems to see Apple TV but simply when you start anything it gives error. Its must be related to this update because on other phones with iOS 15.7 everything works fine. Is this known bug ? Do you have same problem ?

AirPlay malfunction After updating my phones and iPad to iOS 16.2, my Airplay stopped functioning with my Denon and Marantz receivers. I have tried resetting my phone, modem, routers and receivers. Still nothing. Prior to iOS 16.2 it worked fine. It still works with AppleTV and iPods without a problem. Any suggestions?
