I have an old iMac and in the middle of the day the screen turned grey asking for 6 digit password. it is an old iMac from 2010. It doesn't appears on my apple ID and i don't have a receipt for this purchase as it was 10 years ago. is there anyway to unblock it? i have all my files and documents on it?

I would leave it on and simply log in, the code will come to one of your devices, your iPad, iPhone, iMac etc...
