Phone working but unable to press any apps or restart phone

So my phone is acting very strange. I answered a FaceTime call from a friend and the screen turned completely blurry. I was unable to hang up or press any buttons. Of course with the new update you can have part of the FaceTime in a corner as you go to your home screen. Even then.... I couldn't do hang up or do anything. I now can't press any apps or even restart my phone. Siri says that she can't process the request when I ask her to go to an app or restart my phone. What can I do??

  1. Press and then release 'volume up' button
  2. Press and then release 'volume down' button
  3. Press and hold side button (sleep/wake button on right side of phone) and keep holding until the apple symbol comes up on screen. Then you can release it and hopefully it will be normal again!
