Please help me to resolve my issue.. I have update my macOS to Big Sur, now my Canon LBP2900B is not working, I tried reinstalling the printer driver file for LBP3000 as it worked with macOS Catalina.. But in vain.
Appreciate your suggestion and guidance.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.0
First you have to delete all your LBP 3000 printers form your Mac and then restart.
After that download latest CAPT driver for LBP3000 from the link below and download 2900 patch as well.
Now install latest CAPT driver for LBP3000 in your Mac and then put patch files in BIDI and cnaccm folder respectively.
Now open terminal and write the code " xattr -cr**** " and press enter.
After that connect your printer to your Mac and add printer in system preference there you go have fun.

Go to folder address for patch files:- /Library/Printers/Canon/CUPSCAPT2/Bidi ( captmoncnab3 )
/Library/Printers/Canon/CUPSCAPT2/cnaccm ( CnAC28B9.DAT )
**** = pathname for file "captmoncnab3"in Bidi folder you can get the same using right click and then by holding option button.

The google drive link which you provided for canon printer is for macOS Mojave. (canon_lbp2900b_patch_mojave.zip).
Does the same patch work for macOS Big Sur. Please update.

I am trying to install canon printer LBP 2900B on Mac OS Big Sur 11.1. I have installed the new driver and patch and replaced them also but I am not able to write command matter-cr and also it says “captmoncnab3” is damaged and can’t be opened. Please guide me to write the command and how to also fix the damaged file.

Just updated from OS Mojave to Big Sur. With previous updates I have been able to get the printer working with patches, but now I´m not able to get it working with Big Sur 11.3. Is the patch only working for 11.2?
I had no other choice than order a new laserprinter from HP. Too bad, since the Canon LBP2900 has served me perfect in over 10 years (I dont know when I bought it, but I see than i bought a toner in 2010). Every time when upgrading, there had been a patch, but not now, not at this time at least.
After going through all the answers in this thread, I realized that I had not REPLACED those two patchfiles. But now I have, and at least I do not get any errormessage! Now it is only a window where it says "printing". But its not printing. But I´m feeling that I am close

Do you know how to add Canon LBP2900 at Windows PC over Wifi on Big Sur? Using this patch, and nothing, works only directly via USB

I used this method in Catalina and it is working fine. Now, if I upgrade to Big Sur will I have to go through this process again?
I do have the mentioned issues of driver of canon lip 2900 b with macOS Big Sur. Is it possible me to talk to you over a phone call ? because there are some issues.
