Hi, sorry about that. I remember distinctly that I tried to edit it but I couldn't etc.
Uh, what I was trying to say was that my airpods aren't missing; they're connected to my iPhone. However, the the only thing i can click is play sound- there isn't even any location. Then, the loading circle loads for a while, and says that a sound will play when my airPods is next connected to a device.
The same happened to my iPad when I tried to locate it. Welp, that's lost now.
Anyways, might this problem be because the phone that i'm using to locate (an iphone 6) is too old?

We're glad to hear your AirPods aren't lost, and sorry to hear your iPad is. There are several reasons this can happen, the most common of which is that devices aren't powered on, or powered on and not connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network (in the case of the iPad). That being said, your iPhone is likely not the issue. Some features get updates with new versions of iOS, but most would still work with your device if you're updated to the latest version available for your device.
