the message left on my phone says my apple iCloud account had been breached and not to make any purchases or use my credit card info until resolved. I called the number and left no personal info, and got this contact phone number from “Daniel” .he gave me this call back phone number: ****8335. Is this legit?

Apple does not make such calls.
All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to ignore the calls or hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.
