Can you use 3.5 mm non-Apple headphones with the new iPad if you use the USB-C jack adapter?
Nothing seems to work with my 4th Gen iPad Pro.

Yep, it should work. If no headphones are working with the iPad, your adapter could have broken. This happens a lot and you can purchase a new one from Apple (under $10 in the US)

LOL. All I had to do was to re-boot my iPad! Support Chat didn't even suggest it, but that's all it took! Had me worried because the rep at the Verizon store said she heard that non-apple headphones wouldn't work with the new iPhones or iPads!
