updating brother printer for ios Big Sur 11.0.1

I updated to Big Sur, and now my brother printer says I need an update. How do I do that?

Hello,


This is an AirPrint printer. See the list in About AirPrint - Apple Support. This means that you can use the printer without downloading a separate driver.


Connect the printer to an existing network (router, using Wi-Fi or Ethernet).


You may want to begin by resetting the printing system (Reset the Mac printing system to solve a problem - Apple Support). Make sure that you choose to use AirPrint (Add a printer on Mac - Apple Support).
