iphone 12 pro max camera issues
Hello! I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max.
So my problem is that if I shoot a picture in night mode I get a horizontal GREEN line on my picture. Does anyone else have this problem?

I just realized same issue last Friday on my phone. My wife’s phone is perfectly fine. I also found the nigh mode photos are fine even the camera screen shows like this. However, the videos are not. Videos are exactly same as seen on the phone’s screen. hope Apple can fix this issue in next software release.
I had the same problem with the camera on the back of iphone 12 pro max. I tried to reset but i didnt fix the issue. My phone is over 30 days for return. After came to Apple store, they checked and replaced the new phone for me under warranty.
I’ve just had this issue return on a brand new phone after Apple swapped it for me previously! 😡
It seems to be more of a widespread issue than thought, or I’m extremely unlucky.
Though in this case a reboot seems to fix it temporarily. Not ideal however.
Has this issue occurred again since they swapped your phone? I've had this happen twice since I got the phone on launch day. Restarting the phone fixes the issue but this hardly seems right. Apple diagnostics came up with no hardware problems on my phone but I can't find any information from Apple addressing the issue or stating that it is a software problem.
yes! I sent my phone in through Best Buy and it came back that there was water damage, although it’s never been in the shower with me (as apple support suggested) nor has it ever been in contact with any amount of water. Wish I would’ve looked at this thread before dealing with Albert. I am switching to Sam’s sing and will never buy another apple product. I’ve been a loyal customer since the 3rd generation with no problems at all. Never bought extra insurance or apple care, because I didn’t need it. I take very good care of my phone, it’s always in an otter box case with a screen protector. Not one issue and now after having my phone for five months they try to tell me there was water damage when I know there wasn’t. And Albert refused to tell me if there were any other reported issues with the12 pro Max which is what lead me to do a search and discover it is a very common issue. Angry and disappointed at apples lack of honesty and professionalism is an understatement.
Did you read my post? My phone has never been in any kind of water. I’m not worried about a policy that doesn’t cover water. I’m talking about the dishonesty of apple. I know without any doubt that my phone has never came in contact with water.
At the begin though the issue only on the main camera. But when the issue returned, I found the 2.5x camera has same issue. 😂
My iPhone 12 Pro Max also have the same issue like yours. But I went Apple store three times they only reset the iOS and it became normal. They said it was caused by software issue.
Same here - it gets worst occasionally and better - I restart and it goes away but what a pain to do this every time you get it. It has to be a software issue.
I know exactly how you feel
Yea same thing...
Hello, i have i phone 12 pro max 1 month now, a week ago i noticed the same problem like alyzzaxmae. I restart it last night and now is ok. What do you think i should do?
and i have to take it back where i bought it? or i can talk with apple in here?
Exactly the same issue you mentioned. The solution was the same for me as well, a restart. Leads me to believe it is a software issue as well.
Apple will replace the phone if there are no physical damages. For me, I will keep my phone for now and see if future software update will fix it.
