iPhone 12 Pro Max Bluetooth Issues

I had similar issues with bluetooth speakers. I did ll of the fixes you referred to. Still nothing. I went to the support site for Sony, and they had instructions on restoring factory defaults and wiping memory. That worked for me.

Hi there. I just purchased a 12 pro and was having similar issues. I was so frustrated because I had just bought a brand new JBL Bluetooth speaker and Sony Bluetooth headphones and neither one would pop up in my Bluetooth options on my phone.

I realized that maybe some outside apps would help. Since I am using products that aren’t Apple products, I thought this might work... it did! I just had to o download a JBL app to connect my speaker and a Sony app to help connect my headphones. Each one took a few minutes to work (so patience is key). It’s annoying but I’m SO happy I don’t need to buy anything new- I mean, I just bought a new phone! Try it out, it definitely helps!

I am having the same problem. I used to have an iPhone XR that paired reliably with my Harley Davidson LiveWire. My new iPhone 12 Pro Max is only intermittently able to see the motorcycle and has never paired with it successfully.

Another iPhone 12 (not Max) that I have access to can pair to the motorcycle just fine as can an 8th iPad, so there is definitely something amiss with the Max.

I've tried deleting all Bluetooth devices, I've tried Reset Network Settings, and I've tried Reset All Settings to no avail.

I have tried every suggested solution. I continue to have issues with Bluetooth connectivity.

I have concluded that it is an apple software I issue. Apple has sadly chosen to ignore the issue. It is a defective product.

I was having the same issues. I solved the problem by eliminating the Bluetooth devices of interest from my old iphone. Once I did this the 12PM paired with all of them. Best luck.

I found solution for my case. I had to turn off the Bluetooth in my iPhone XR because all my devices were still paired to it with the same name. Same thing apply to my wife’s iPhone too.

I solved my Bluetooth problem by turning off the Bluetooth in my old iPhone XR so the devices released itself and then they appeared in my Max. This works for two of our Max.

EXACTLY!!! $1k+ for a phone and you have to spend hours to get it to do what it is purportedly designed to do?

Your Bluetooth devices are tie to your XS. Needed to release them from the XS because your replace your XS.

I had same problem, mine was fixed when I found that the name of my iPhone 8 and 12 pro max was same. So, I changed name on my 8 and it worked.

Having the same issue but only with my Samsung soundbar. It's definitely the phone at this point.

Using Sony headphones,

I had forgotten that step to hold down on/off button for several seconds to pair it with phone.

Both new iPhone 12 regular losing connection to Panasonic house cordless system. Random, after a few minutes . Never ever lost with old iPhone 6’s.
