how to i get my HP Envy 5640 printer to work? Each time I try to use it,

the mac says 'HPDM framework will damage your computer'

Delete you current HP print queues, and use this HP article to remove the old Drivers.

then add-A-printer and MacOS should fetch new Drivers for you and install them.

system Preferences > Security & privacy ...


Click the padlock in the lower left corner to make changes.


Then without closing that window, double-click on the Un-Installer again. You should get a new button in security & privacy that says (open anyway) or similar. click it to proceed.

This occurs because the Un-Installer is so old, it does not have a Registered Developer Certificate, and must be opened as an exception item. [sloppy.]
