OK. Probably what he updated is still on his desktop.
Advice: avoid any cloud storage (including iCloud) to save Logic projects.
Way to collaborate on a project: Save the project with all assets > Zip the project > Share the Zip file > Brother Unzip the file > Brother updates the project > Brother Zip the project > Brother share the Zip file > Unzip the file.

I understand. It is that Synced Cloud storage is still stuck in the previous century concept of self contained documents. Logic projects are complex files with many dependancies.
There are more professional collaboration solutions available but they come with a fee.

Using finder, on macbook air, fully updated, I shared file giving bro chris rights to update a Logic Pro X project file from my icloud desktop. He added new tracks and saved, but when I opened project some time later, nothing new

C’mon, a Band in lockdown want real time updates to shared files.
