Macbook pro 16 inch external monitor flicker

That Dock says it supports a single display up to 4K at 30 Hz. 30 Hz is the definition of flickery.

It appears to be working as designed.

Ditch the Dock, use a DisplayPort cable/adapter like this one, it will work MUCH better:

1. Try connecting the monitor directly to the Mac without the dock

2. Connect the monitor using a different cable

3. Check for other nearby sources of interference, like other electronics or magnets

4. Restore your monitor to default settings if the settings have been changed

5. Check for monitor firmware updates
