Recovery mode for Macbook Pro

I have Macbook pro 2010 and I tried to use recovery mode but on disk utility, it only shows “loading disks”. How long do I have to wait for loading disks? Please let me know what I should do next.

If Recovery is not working for you try Internet Recovery
