When activating Apple TV channels it asks for tv provider. Is that the ISP or other tv content provider such as Xfinity/Comcast?

The ‘TV provider’ is the one where you subscribe to, to get access to TV networks, such as ABC, NBC, Fox, etc.

The ‘TV provider’ may or may not be the same as your ISP.
