I'm planning on buying M1 Mac mini! Will the Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter work with my Dell P2415Q 4K displayport monitors?
I'm currently running 2 Dell P2415Q's with my late model 2013 Mac Pro.
Mac mini 2018 or later
The Dell P2415Q 4K is not a Thunderbolt display, so will not work with the Thunderbolt 3 adapter.
Connect one display from a USB-C port on the Mac mini to the display's Mini DisplayPort with a USB-C to Mini DisplayPort cable, such as:
mophie USB-C Cable with Mini DisplayPort Connector - Apple.
Connect the other with a HDMI cable from the Mac mini's HDMI port to the display's HDMI port.
The Dell P2415Q 4K is not a Thunderbolt display, so will not work with the Thunderbolt 3 adapter.

Maybe as thunderbolt has full combability with displayport.
But you would not need thunderbolt so you would be better off with just a
USB-C to mini DisplayPort adapter. Much cheaper cables
I am not sure if you can drive 2 displayport monitors easily via the USB C ports. you will for sure be able to do one.

For Mac mini with Apple M1 chip, you can connect one external display up
to 6K using a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port, and one external display up
to 4K using the HDMI 2.0 port.
You would need to connect one screen to USB-C port, and one to HDMI.
Not sure the HDMI out can output displayport
