Iphone 12 Pro Max Keeps Losing Wifi Signal

I have the same problem with iPhone 12, phone shows as wifi is connected but don't get any signal. Have to turn off and on the wifi setting and it works. Updated to the latest ios and the issue still happens.

Yes I agree it is an issue with the iPhone 12. I have an iPhone 8 and 2 Max 10’s and they have no issues at all and they updated to the iOS 14.4. Apple needs to figure this out quick people

are spending a lot of money on this phone and for the wifi to not work because of their update is ridiculous. At least give us the option to go back to the previous iOS.

I have reset network settings and still did not work. I now can not connect at all to wifi even when toggling on and off. This is ridiculous, I am lucky I have unlimited internet but if I didn’t I would not be able to have this phone. I don’t understand why this is not a priority especially with a lot having 12/12 Pro.

i have the exact issue, all the time random drop out and using my data instead. We got our WiFi checked which is 100% working. And my family members got other phones and they are not getting any of this problem. I can’t connect to chrome cast though we have got other phone which is catching all the chrome casts. Very disappointed, just a month old phone and not expecting this major issue with latest phone ... will definitely try to think and recommend other people to this phone!! Too much troubles with Apple.

Same problem with my 12 pro max. It shows that there is a WiFi but in time it goes offline. Specially it feels on other apps. Only way is to switch WiFi off and on. But it helps only for a short time. But it works on cellular.

so many problems with this phone. It’s my first iPhone after my 13 years of using android. And I feel that it was a mistake.

I too am having WiFi connection issues with my iPhone 13 Max Pro and it is not a router issue. Everything else I. My house works, except the phone. I have to turn the WiFi on the phone off and on to be connected. What is going on. It is irritating. And when you consider the cost, this should not be a major issue.

I purchased the iPhone 12 Mac Pro and have been using it for just over a week during this time I have lost the wifi on the phone whilst sitting in front of my hub no issues with the hun seems to be an iPhone issue

I’m having the same issue! iPhone 12 Pro Max and it’s not even 2 weeks old. Thought I was going mad, but my bf’s phone hasn’t lost any WiFi (he’s Samsung 🙃). So annoying because sometimes I don’t realise it’s out and I miss messages and phone calls

DIDNOT work for me!! I tired every possibility every one suggested here ... something with the phone ... my partner wifi connection of iPhone 7 is more efficient and no drop out.

my half of the mobile data goes away because of this. such a Shame Apple is unable to do anything or at least acknowledge their mistake and fix it.

i will make sure not to recommend apple

I’m appalled at the issues with my iPhone 12 mini.

Constantly dropping WiFi, switch off and on again even though other iPhones next are ok.

Screen freezes every so often especially on zooming.

Screen just decided to go,,, dark despite being on full bright.

I too face the same issue with my 12 pro. Didn’t even think that it is the iPhone and was trying different things with my high end WiFi router. Finally realised that it is the iPhone. And all other devices work just fine.

why is Apple not responding even after so many complaints?

Same here with Iphone 12 Pro Max on 14.4.1, I've had my phone since it was released 11/12/20. Just recently it started to drop WiFI and like you all I need to turn it off and on to get the signal back.

I just want to add myself to the number of people so hopefully Apple focuses/listen

Lost faith in Apple this the Apple community and no one from Apple has responded to the major issue with the new iphone12 max pro has cost me a small fortune and I am not impressed with the iPhone I wish I had never bought it

Same problem here. Have had this issue since I bought the iPhone 12. Replaced at the apple store twice and same problem each time! Called Apple again today and they just go through the usual corporate talk and not acknowledging the issue. Have pointed them to look at this forum but they don't admit there is a major issue.

iPhone 12 mini, Finally got to the Apple store, showed the store manager my screen, not zooming correctly, freezing, he saw it all, told him about dropping WiFi connection. Said he’d never seen it before.

well, now he has !
