Iphone 12 Pro Max Keeps Losing Wifi Signal

Hi there .... yeah seems like I'm having the same issue with my new iPhone 12. Kept on getting disconnected from the wifi but not on my iPhone 11. It has nothing to do with the router for sure and the settings on both devices are identical.

I have been having exactly the same problem since getting my iPhone 12 at the beginning of December, never had any problems before with my iPhone 7 and I don’t get any WiFi drop outs with my iPad which uses the same WiFi router. This is extremely annoying and frustrating

It seems to be getting worse. Normally resets when I switch Wi-Fi off and on, sometimes I have to switch to Airplane mode, occasionally I have to switch phone off and on.

when I get connected, if I start another app, it often reports no network connection so I have to go thru the process again.

Apple - are you listening??

Same here I have the iPhone 12, and even on beta software. Out of the box issue always shows my wifi is connected but won’t load any internet required information. Have to turn of wifi then back on. Usually happens a few times a day while I’m at home.

I have had the same issue with my iPhone 12 Mini since the day I received it. The phone shows it’s connected, but it’s not, and apps I use frequently such as WhatsApp and the Apple weather app won’t open. I discovered the same “fix” that you did (switching the phone’s WiFi off and then on again), but that’s very annoying. I’m hoping a future software update will cure the problem.

Same here. It’s not my router as my lap top still work & other items connected to my WiFi work. My phone is useless usually Friday & Saturday seem to be the days I can’t use my phones apps. Disappointed as I use my apps all the time. For over $1100 phone & to have this happen😖

Same here. Several times throughout the day the Wifi speed drops to zero on the new iPhone 12 Pro, my wife’s 11 at the exact same time works fine. I use Google Wifi and I haven’t change a thing in several years... I’m on the Apple lease program so I’ve been thru several iPhones with the same Wifi and never had an issue.

Yes I’ve done all matter of things but it only sustains for a short period of time. I find that toggling wifi on and off solves the issue for a short time. I’m even on the beta program and there hasn’t been a fix in those updates either. I’m hoping it’s not a hardware issue.

I’m having the same issue...my teo other friends that i live with are both using iphone 12 pro as well... the three of us experiences the same thing... we thought at first that it’s our router at home..but no since we found out that our three android phones are doing just fine! We’ve switched from android to iphone and we’re having this issue now...what a shame

Same issues here. My daughter and I bought the iPhone 12 max together and both are having WiFi issues. My daughter is now in college and still having the same issues using the college WiFi. So frustrating!

I wish I would have had automatic update turned off. This is a nightmare not have my wifi turned off all the time in order to use the internet or anything. They need to release a patch ASAP or I am going to cause a ruckus at the Apple store. I paid way to much for the iPhone 13 Pro Max to not be able to use my wifi at all!
