New M1 MacBook Air keeps crashing and freezing... I can't force quit as the keyboard becomes unresponsive.
Help!
Anyone else out there struggling with this?
I keep checking for system updates but nothing yet...

Erased and reinstalled OS at last 10
times. Apple sent it off for repairs twice. They couldn’t find any issues but still replaced logic board and touchpad both times. It still came back with same problems of freezing as soon as I used keyboard or touchpad. I was without a usable machine for almost two months from I bought it new. Spent many hours on phone with Apple support who didn’t have a clue and passed me around, often never getting back to me. They constantly refused to exchange it even though it was obvious the machine was a dud. Eventually they relented and I finally got a replacement. It works fine just as it should. And that was on 11.1 I remain convinced it was a hardware issue.

Freeze and even the screen it’s unresponsive! Two days old!!

I have also the same exact problem even from less programs running and the only thing I can do is hard shurtdown and restart.
New M1 mac mini 2020 desktop crashing freezing and not recognizing wired peripherals.
unfortunately this even not working as you will find that also touch bar not respoending

I have the M1 MacBook Pro and it keep freezing and becoming unresponsive, I’ve mostly experienced it while playing Sims 4.
I have the same problem with the M1 Pro version, suddenly close all apps running in the background.
It's exactly same with me. My device is M1 air 8core 16gb

I have 16 gigs of Ram and it's still crashing too. I have noticed it crashes on Safari more so than when I use Chrome. I am going to change the settings on the preferred browser settings.
I have the same problem where my MacBook Air M1 16GB where it would freeze and the whole thing would be unresponsive I would have to hold the power button to reset it

Yeah, I had two Chrome windows open, about ten tabs each, and it froze overnight. I was shocked - even my eight year old MBA could handle that.
