New M1 MacBook Air keeps crashing and freezing... I can't force quit as the keyboard becomes unresponsive.
Help!
Anyone else out there struggling with this?
I keep checking for system updates but nothing yet...

I started up in Safe Mode (https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201262) and there was no issue anymore. I have since restarted and the issue has gone. Hope that works for you too!
Yep. Been running since whenever I posted my original issue on here and it’s been 100% stable. I’ve noticed a slight increase in energy consumption but it’s worth it in my opinion.
I can confirm I also don’t have the problem anymore since Monterey. Restarted itself once since I use that OS but it was probably because of a different issue.

Yes, very annoying, but the near apple store is 140km from my home. Yes, I bought last month.... I have full warranty, but they don't offer reverse logistic... So I'm without my job machine :(
