"Passwords..." pop up appears and won't disappear since upgrading to Big Sur

From our understanding, you’re seeing a prompt for passwords that you are unable to clear without restarting. We’d be happy to take a look!

You mentioned that this seems to occur when using Outlook specifically, have you been prompted to enter a password at any time when using that app?

Also, if we can isolate when this occurs, then we’ll know the steps to take. Since you have a list of apps that this may be occurring in, let’s start by checking for updates for those by using: Use the App Store to update apps on Mac - Apple Support

If we can isolate this to a particular app, and it’s already been updated, we’d recommend removing the app and reinstalling it to see if the same thing occurs.

Had the exact same issue and it was caused by Fortinet FortiClient. Killing the "FortiClientAgent" process through Activity Monitor got rid of the popup.

Try Control click an offending App from the Applications Folder. Menu appears choose Open.
