Persistent passwords window on desktop

I have a 2019 Macbook Pro running Big Sur 11.6.5 Big Sur. A window labelled "Passwords..." which is otherwise blank appears on my desktop, cannot be hidden, closed or moved and only disappears after shutting down. I have tried all the fixes I found in this community forum, and elsewhere and cannot resolve the issue. The window appears in the foreground of every other working window, and is annoying. Has only happened with Big Sur. Any help out there?

Restart your mac in Safe Mode.

Does that pesky window still appear (I am guessing it does not - am I right?).

Restart normally again.

If that window reappears, please run Etrecheck and post its full report here. Use the "additional text" button and paste the report into the text box.
