Apple TV+ Not Showing All Content?

I’m very confused by Apple TV+

I do understand that it is a steaming service inside the Apple TV app. I know I have to go to Watch Now then click on the Apple TV+ channel icon to go “into” Apple TV+

However, once I’m in, it seems to only show me a selection of shows, not everything available.

There is a “Drama Series” heading with 6 shows

“Comedy Series” below that with 5 shows

1 “Feature Film”

Several selections in “Non-Fiction Series”

7 things in “Family Fun”

Then a “Coming Soon” section

And I know for sure there were shows on it months ago that are no longer there, such as that Jennifer Anniston and Steve Carrell show (can’t think of the name now). Where did it go?

Does Apple TV+ really only have approximately 25 shows on it? If so, how do they justify the subscription price? I am about to cancel if this is really all it offers.

I see 10 drama shows for Apple TV+ at this time.

“Comedy Series” below that with 5 shows

I see 6 comedy shows.

1 “Feature Film”

I see 10 tiles under feature films.

Several selections in “Non-Fiction Series”

I count 12.

7 things in “Family Fun”

I count 8.

The Morning Show, categorized under Drama shows. You may have to scroll horizontally, as it may not be in initial view (anymore).

46 titles.

32 serialized TV shows, with a total of 296 episodes.

New additions every month. New episodes every week for some ongoing shows.

Not counting the holiday specials of Peanuts, which don’t seem to be licensed for my region, despite the ‘worldwide’ claim in the press release.

1/ I expect that it is mostly given away (free year offer) for now, although I have not heard or read the actual numbers/percentages.

2/ Subscribe if you like the content, and think it is worth it. Cancel if it is not for you. Just like any other subscription.

I figured it out. Your answer made me realize there must be something wrong with mine. I had content restrictions on the Apple TV so it wasn’t showing anything above PG-13 for movies or above TV-14 for shows. Disappointing that so many of their shows have terrible language, gore or mature subject matter, but to each his own. I am not a paying subscriber, but got it free with my new iPad (as you suggested)... I just could not understand the lack of content. Still don’t think they can justify the price, considering most people have probably not recently purchased a new Apple device, and so would not be getting a subscription for free, but I guess perhaps they will steadily add more content. Thanks for your help.
