Shipment clearance delay at customs Malaysia airport

Hi i just bought a iPhone pro and shipment was written as clearance delay at the airport. Why is clearance delay occured? Wondering what action need to be taken? Will my phone get lost or not delivered to me? Is there any guarantee on it? Is there compensation? What can apple do to ensure me able to deliver the iPhone to my special one as a gift on time? Thanks 🙏
