Looking to run two monitors on my new M1 MacBook Pro 13 and want to know what the best hub is to buy. Anyone achieving two screens with the Brydge Stone Pro or Hyperdrive? Anyone achieving two screens? Any ideas?

Thanks neuroanatomist, I fear that if I spend a bunch of money to run my dual displays and apple makes it nonfictional I would have been better off spending it towards a super ultra-wide display instead. Although I will probably get the Stone pro as I only have two USB C ports now.

i don’t plan to get an M1 Mac and all the Macs in the house now can drive two monitors (and several can run four), but I still went with one ultrawide display – an LG 34” 5K:2K 21:9.
You’d need a dock/hub that has DisplayLink. The Stone Pro does not (though it’s a great dock otherwise). Be aware that the second display won’t have hardware acceleration and that macOS updates can render the DisplayLink drivers nonfunctional.
Very nice! One of the displays I am considering is an LG 49WL95C-W 49 Inch 32:9 UltraWide Dual QHD IPS Curved LED Monitor with HDR 10. They certainly get pricey when they get big. 😀
