Black Friday Gift Card Terms

Bought a new iPhone 11 during Black Friday. According to the deal as we read it, we should be eligible for a $50 gift card. The $50 appeared in my wife's Apple account, then disappeared days later. When we contacted customer service they said that we were ineligible for the promotion since we were Verizon customers. I cannot find this anywhere on Apple's web site, since Black Firday is now over. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Can anyone send me a copy of this fine print or point me toward the info on Aplle's site? The representative on the phone was unable to do this.

Exact same thing happened to me. I was under the impression that the $50 gift card would come after purchasing the iPhone. After a month of not receiving it, I called and was told that I would have had to buy the unlocked version. When buying the iPhone, I never saw this stipulation and if it was more obvious, I could have easily have picked the no carrier version instead of the Verizon version. I feel like this is really shady advertising, I would have never of bought the phone if I knew I wouldn't have gotten the gift card.

I bought an iPhone 11 for my daughter as well on Black Friday 2020 with intent of getting $50 gift card. I never got the gift card. Called customer service, nice lady processed it for me manually and said it should be in the email 1-24 hours. Waited and never got it, called back and then was told could take up to 7 days. Waited again. Called today and told them I still have not received to be told "I was not going to be happy" because I selected ATT as my carrier instead of saying to send an unlocked version. This is trick advertising. I mean who would not have preferred an unlocked phone if we did not have to say we were with a carrier. I purchased it outright. If I had know that I would have purchased it unlocked. Was on phone 37 minutes and when I asked to be sent to a supervisor I was mysteriously disconnected. The first time I called the phone disconnected but the lady that was so nice, called me right back. No call back this time. I am NOT HAPPY!!!! Asked them to produce a copy of the ad and they said they can't.

THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME. I purchased an iPhone SE on Cyber Monday with the intent of getting a $50 gift card. Never came. Called customer service and talked to a nice guy who said that I should have received it but that because there was no record of the gift card so instead he would manually submit a request to customer service to have a gift card sent to me. And SAME THING, never game...7 days later...nothing. Called again and they said could take 8-11 days to arrive...seems fishy to me...should not take that long to send one email. In this second call they also told me that I wasn't supposed to get a gift card because they deal was only for "sim-free" phones and I also purchased one with ATT selected. No where in the deal did I see it had to be unlocked?! WTF. I would have also purchased it unlocked if I had known. BUT it didn't say that anywhere?! WHAT IS GOING ON?!
