No Data Connection on Cellular Apple Watch Series 6 (watchOS 7.1)

I have been having serious issues with Apple Watch cellular plan on T-Mobile. When my phone is on cellular, Even if I have 3 or 4 bars of reception, doesn’t matter, I cannot do anything that needs data. It just says, no internet connection. In cellular under settings it shows plan as T-Mobile, status: no connection.

Interestingly, I can make calls on my watch over cellular, but no data connection. I have had discussions with different T-mobile reps, including senior technical support assistants, but no solution so far. I also talked to Apple support, they run a remote diagnostics on my watch, and I was told that nothing was wrong. I tried unpairing, deleting the watch and pairing again, removing the cellular plan and adding again, doing a network reset on my iPhone, unpairing and pairing back the DIGITS number associated with my Apple Watch. None of these worked.

I can occasionally get data connection when I move far away from my neighborhood with my watch, leaving my phone home, but that needs turning airplane mode off and on, when I am miles away from my phone. Interestingly, when I come back to my neighborhood while the data is working on the watch, it stays in data-working state, where the location I cannot normally get data connection. After my watch connects back to my phone and disconnects again in my neighborhood, same story goes on, no data connection on watch, can make calls, and I need to move miles away from my region and toggle airplane mode on and off to get data. It is being super frustrating and nobody could help so far. Is there anyone who can have a solution for this?

I am having the same issues with my Apple series 6 watch. I can connect to cellular in my home but have no data connection. I am able to receive and make calls however. When I am a 1/4 mile from my home I can stream music. When I return home the data connection is still good. What is interesting is I have a Series 3 with cellular on the same T-Mobile plan that can pull data when I am in my home. I believe the issue with the Series 6 happened soon after I purchased the watch and updated the watch software. Apple support was as helpful as they could be but no solution has been found. T-Mobile support could not solve this issue either. Otherwise a great watch. Might consider changing carriers.

I have the same issue on T-Mobile. Watch shows cellular signal, but "No connection" until I get about 1/2-1/4 mile from my house and then a toggle of cellular off/on will bring it back and it will then work all the way back to my house until I disconnect again. T-mobile escalated a ticket twice and essentially said they give up. So frustrating as everything working fine the first two months I had the watch. This a series 6.

I have the same issue. Just got a Series 6 watch and when I am at home I can connect to cellular and receive calls but that's it. If I try to use Siri or anything it says there is not internet connection and the status shows not connected. I am on T-Mobile as well. I was heading back to the store and tested it when I got away from house and it started working even though it said it wasn't connected. I only show one dot of signal on the watch so maybe it doesn't have enough of a signal to do internet? Either way it is frustrating. I have also had it in placed it was working then it would stop. If I turned cellular off and back on it worked. It's frustrating to say the least.
