some applications have spontaneously stopped loading on reboot mojave
With no changes to my OS X 10.14.6 some apps are not loading on reboot of 10.14.6
Even the Time Machine disk does not mount or show up on menu bar

Have you tried rebooting into Recovery Mode ( Command +r ) Immediately at startup. Use Disk Utilities to Repair Dick. Reboot in Safe Mode ( hold Shift Key ) Immediately at start up. Let run 5 - 10 minutes. Restart in Normal Mode.
