Temporarily I had to use my old iphone X and it seems I cannot restore it from a "12" backup. Is there any way I can at lest get my contacts loaded back in? I will get my iphone 12 back in two weeks but need to use the X.

I didn't now how to do that but I discovered my old iphone x backup. I failed to notice the pulldown widgit and picked an old backup that was from my X
