uploading messages to icloud stuck

Set up iPad and iPhone to sync messages through iCloud but iPad seems to be stuck uploading messages??

Yes, I discovered that. What I realized later was that my messages had filled up the free storage so once I subscribed to more storage it finally completed the upload. But it was still persistent as you explained. Thx!

Hello Beardawg306,

How long has it be seemingly stuck? From experience, I will tell you that the upload message process seems to linger a lot longer than you think it maybe should. When setting up new devices, I will flip the feature on, then let it do its thing for several hours before checking back.
