what is a kernel panic? and how do I get rid of it

since ive updated to the iPhone 8 plus its been restarting and rebooting and is getting annoying. im sure this is a software bug as its happening to other iPhone 8 Plus users. how can I get rid of this kernel panic. my phone was fine before I updated to iso 14.2
