Midi Controller Assignments not working

After doing my own setup with the Arturia MINILAB mkII, I assigned 16 knobs to different plugins functions, in different tracks, all inside a drum machine designer. After learning the assignments, the plugins would respond as I turned the knobs. Eventually, some hours later, after the computer was only in sleep mode, I opened it back, and everything was still there (Logic Project still open). Then I noticed the plugins wouldn't respond as i turned the knobs. The controller assignments window inside control surfaces still has the control and parameters, but they don't work.

I assigned the knobs to the functions once again, and by the day after Logic had 'forgotten' the assignments again.

I don't have the Arturia Minilab auto-assign ticked inside Control Surfaces > Preferences, because I want to create my own assignments.
