Uneven Gap Between Glass and Chase

I have had my iPhone 12 Pro for about 4 days now and I have noticed that the gap between the front glass and the steel rail is uneven. Meaning that there is a very tiny gap at the top-left corner but a very large gap at the bottom-right corner of the front glass. Similarly, there is a larger gap on the left side of the back glass than on the right side. Is this a manufacturing defect or is this normal? I also have concerns about water resistance.

It's a new phone with a one year warranty against manufacturing defects. If you are concerned about the phone, schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar, show it to them and if they determine there is a defect, they will replace it.
