I can’t log into my new IPad

I got an IPad for my niece for Christmas and I created a Apple ID and I can’t log in, it said to contact iTunes

Then contact iTunes Support team using the following link (choosing your country, then Apple ID, then iTunes & App Store. If your problem is not among the options shown there, tap/click on the option “the topic is not listed” and describe your issue):--> iTunes Store & App Store – Get support for various issues
