Missing Mac Wallet on MacBook M1 2020

Ticket currently open to Eng.

MacBook Air M1 2020 running Big Sur, missing Wallet Icon in System Preferences.

This appear to be a bug, at least in my case, the icon is missing and not even reinstalling the OS would bring it back. I Live in Puerto Rico, and this is significant, Under Language and Region Icon in System Preferences, mine is set to Puerto Rico. Setting it to the US, does make the Wallet Icon Appear again!!!

This seems to be either a setting or a software bug that treats Puerto Rico as not eligible to use the Wallet service. Just switching it to the US and the icon reappears. Apple support has open a ticket to Engineering, hope to hear soon about a correction.

If you are having the issue try that but it is likely that there are other reasons besides the one we ran into. Not everyone lives in PR.

Wish you luck.
