How do I get the plus add widget button to show up in the first place. Even though I set it to edit home screen, the plus button never appears. I have the iphone SE.

I recently purchased the iphone SE and although I get the app jiggling in the edit home screen setting, the plus button for adding widgets never shows up. How do I add widgets to the home screen?

Well, I guessed that it may need an update and looks like I was right. So, if anyone buys a new SE and can't seem to get the widget options, you may need to update it. :]
