My m1 mac wake from sleep I have to slowly close and open the macbook again, what should I do?

I have a similar problem with my MacBook Air 2020. If I use screen saver or put it in sleep mode it won't wake up. Sometimes when I put my finger on the finger ID button the login screen will briefly flash up but then back to a black screen. Only way to wake it is to force a shut down and restart.
Regret upgrading my old MacBook Pro to the new m1 since the m1 has bugs and the air seems to give pain on my hands for using the touch pad.
Yeah, I have not been able to figure out what the issue is.
I have to just restart the whole machine to get it to wake up.

11.3 is available. There is now sleepmode support for Macs with M1-chip
Could you solve the problem? I am still having the same issue even after 11.3.1.
ufopeace - that is precisely what is happening to my Macbook Air M1. Started after several weeks of use during which it worked fine. Have you had any luck in resolving the issue? Running 11.2.3

My machine doesn’t wake up at all I have to restart the machine.
I have updated and to the latest version and double taping EAC, not closing and reopening the lid works.
