I bought an iPhone Xr from an individual that ended up having and activation lock. I cannot get in touch with the seller. Can you help me unlock the phone so I can use it?
This is a user-to-user technical support site operated by Apple. The volunteers here cannot unlock your iPhone and Apple will not do so nor assist you. Activation Lock is a theft deterrent, only the person holding it can clear it for you. Recycle the iPhone responsibly.
There is no way to remove the activation lock theft deterrent feature without the cooperation of the person who enabled it.
