Anyone know a simple solution for keeping the MacBook Air in place on a smooth surface? Its lightness and the tightness of the cover make it difficult to open without the whole thing sliding around.
Not sure what your budget is, but this or something similar
will fit the bill and protect the outer shell of the MacBook Air
as well. It also has rubber feet.
Also, you could just go the cheap route if appearances aren't an issue
and just get some stick-on rubber feet available pretty much anywhere.

You might try the thin, rollable cutting "boards". I bought a two pack from IKEA. There's usually one side that doesn't slip. Here's what I mean:

I'm sure the same sort of thing is available elsewhere.
