All 4K video downloads as 720p

I'm using the iCloud For Windows 11.x app that you can download from the Microsoft App store on Windows 10. Any video I shoot that's 4K, downloads as 720p. Also videos shot at 1440p also download at 720p. I was running the older iCloud For Windows app (version 7.21) and that will download 1440p videos, but not 4K ones.

I know that the full resolution videos can be downloaded from icloud.com, but that's not convenient to use.

How can I get iCloud for Windows to download 4K videos?

We understand that you want to be able to download your videos in their original resolution.

In this case, we would recommend using the steps to download the unmodified original as mentioned in the Download photos and videos section of Upload and download photos using iCloud.com. We hope that helps.
