Hi jvdloos,

Does the same behavior persist when the device isn't connected? You mentioned that this happens with Netflix, is this the only app that it occurs on? Does this still occur if you close out the apps? Switch quickly between Apple TV apps

"Force the highlighted app to quit

  • Swipe up on the Touch surface of the Siri Remote to force the highlighted app (the app in the center of the screen) to quit".

Do you have any other audio sources you can test with? If so, does it autoplay music? You may need to contact Bluesound on this issue.

You may also want to check out this article: Now Playing: Control music playback on Apple TV Does turning off Autoplay help?

"Turn Autoplay off or on

Autoplay (on by default) continues to extend the queue with similar songs similar until you stop playing music. You’ll be able to see the next ten songs that are queued up.

  • With the Now Playing screen open on Apple TV, swipe up and select the Autoplay button  at the top of the screen.
  • To turn Autoplay on again, select the Autoplay button  again".

Take care!

Hi Jaxdew,

I try an other app and the same problem occurs. Not only Netflix. I try also your solutions, but I won’t help me. So, i decided to connect my old Airport Express and the problem is solved. Strange. I think the problem is the Node 2i, but I’m not sure. In the community, I have seen the same problems with other devices than the Airport Express, such as Bose.

Hi there,

I have these issues as well. Also in combination with the Powernode 2i which is currently connecting via Airplay.

Bono has a big problem when I meet the guy...freakin annoying to always hear that album play (also on Iphone) when you dont want it to...#$%^&*

Before Ive tried several options also connecting both Apple TV and Powernode with ethernet cable as well as using the bluetooth option, but im constantly running into vague speaker output issues. It differs from App to App. Youtube and a local Dutch broadcaster called NPO seem to work fine, but with Netflix when using Airplay, U2 pops up again and wile using the Ziggo app it says its connected to the Powernode (airplay) but it plays over the HDMi cable (which in my case is connected to a beamer with a very lousy speaker in it)

Im trying out so many things that im getting more confused every new round of efforts.

I gave my Apple tv a fixed IP adres as i read somewhere that could help.

I tried closing other apps that output audio before starting a new one.

Does anyone have a clues/guidelines on using the Powernode (or another streamer) as main speaker output icw the Apple TV and the different Apps/broadcasters on the Apple TV?

Hi,

I have two devices connected to the Apple TV. An Airport Express and a Bluesound Node 2i. The last one, I used for streaming sound from Netflix or iTunes movies. But when I select a movie in Netflix, Apple Music is start playing automatically. When I select Apple TV speakers, than select a movie and switch my AirPlay speakers to the Node 2i, Apple Music is started also playing.
