When I start a fitness workout in Fitness+ on my iPhone, it is not finding my watch. It says "Apple Watch Unavailable". Both my phone and watch have the latest software updates, the watch is unlocked and Bluetooth is on.
Hi all, Happy new year.
After 4 hours with the Apple support they could not help me resolve the issue.
What I did after that and worked is:
Unpair Apple Watch
Set up as new Apple Watch.
30 minutes later everything was up and running
Fitness + works like a charm both on my iPhone and Apple TV.
I highly suggest you do that without wasting any time finding another solution.
You don't even loose any health data. The only thing you'll have to do is re-do your notifications for the native apps and personalise your watch faces.

Was already up to date. Sounds like there is just an intermittent connection issue between the fitness/activity apps.
I have intermittent connection problems with watch to AppleTV. I can't connect Watch to iPhone for fitness even though the watch is already connect to the phone.

I was pouring through the logs for the watch. It's very extensive. I will keep pouring through them to see if there is anything helpful.

What do you mean “logged out of iCloud on my watch“ I don’t see a way to log out of iCloud on the watch itself
Signing out on the phone signs out the watch.
What Home app?
I had that issue, but it turns out that my iPhone needed an update. Works fine now. Both watch and iPhone need to be the latest OS.
I’m having issues with this too. Did you end up figuring it out? I have all my updates on each device but I can’t seem to get it to connect to Fitness+.
Nope. Unsubscribed. This seems to be an Apple problem so I’m hoping for an Apple fix. Seriously, what a sloppy glitch.
