No Mail Audio Notifications

I was using the BigSur beta and thought it was a bug that there were no audio notifications in Mail. But I recently wiped my system and reinstalled the latest version (not beta) of Big Sur and I still don't have any audio notifications. It this a bug? It's sort of annoying not to be able to get any sound when an email comes in. I get the outgoing mail sound sounds, but no incoming. It looks like no matter what you have notifications set to for mail, nothing is being displayed.

October 21 and same issue here on new MacBook Air M1. Mail does not play incoming sound for ONE of my mail accounts - my linked outlook I use for work. All other accounts work fine. Surely a simple bug fix?

Safe mode still has the issue. I don't get any notification nor any notification sound either.

I Agree with Tony above.. It's not trivial.. Could someone from Apple get involved here.. I was hoping the update would fix it.. But nope....

Good to know. I just updated to Big Sur 11.2.3 last night and the problem still exists - no sound notifications for emails. I'm hoping they fix it soon!

Thanks for the suggestion but still not working for me. There's clearly a ghost in the Mac machine somewhere!

11.2.3 update did not solve this. Apple please address asap! Need to be able to multi-task and not miss an email.

Apple, some time has passed since this *serious* problem was flagged. I updated everything on March 28 and am still not receiving notifications. Can you please provide an update?

Can I ask you what macOS are you currently using? I'm running BigSur 11.4 (updated yesterday) on a new MacBook Pro M1 (received yesterday as I said before).

Have you tried other mail apps?

Well, Mac OS 11.4 and STILL no fix of this bug.... :/
