Contacts did not transfer

My contacts did not seem to backup or transfer correctly from my old iPhone to my new one. Please help. I need my contacts for personal and business reasons.

iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 14

Contacts transfer from old iPhone to new one Hi Guys, I set up a new iPhone from iCloud back up. however, when I checked the contacts I realised that the back up was several months old and I am missing a lot of contact details.
